I don’t know about you, but I just about melt whenever my guy gifts me with a bouquet of tiger lilies on Valentine’s Day or serves blueberry pancakes drenched in Vermont maple syrup (yum, my favorite!) for breakfast on my birthday. Yep, that pretty much covers it -- my guy’s a “holiday-exclusive” romantic. And, trust me, I know I’m not alone. But could it be that men are actually more romantic than women have been giving them credit for all these years? New survey results are telling us so!
According to this new study, men are softies when it comes to letting go of relationships. If you can believe it, some men surveyed claim that it took them up to 10 years to get over a lost love -- and some still haven’t gotten over her! While we, on the other hand, were reported to put past relationships behind us much quicker and move on to the next relationship in search of Prince Charming.
So could it be? Are men true romantics when it comes down to being in (and even losing!) love, even if they have to rely on the calendar to show it? What do you think -- is your guy only romantic on special holidays or all year ‘round?
